8TH GRADE. UNIT 4. HOLIDAYS AND CELEBRATIONS

UNIT OBJECTIVES

By the end of the unit Ss will

- be able to use the active vocabulary of the unit
- be able to differentiate between Past Simple Active and Past Simple
Passive and use them in speech
- have revised the use of Present Simple Passive, Conditionals 0 and 1, articles with dates
- have practised reading and listening about different holidays in English-speaking countries and Belarus
- be able to ask for and share information about memorable dates and holidays in the UK, the USA and Belarus
- be able to describe Christmas traditions in Belarus, to compare holidays in Belarus and the USA and the UK
- be able to write an email to recommend a Christmas event to visit
