8TH GRADE. UNIT 2. NATIONAL CUISINE

 UNIT OBJECTIVES 

By the end of the unit Ss will

- be able to use the active vocabulary of the unit 

- be able to use reflexive pronouns in speech

- have practised reading and listening about British and Belarusian dishes and meals, fast food and culinary recipes

- be able to ask for and share information about typical Belarusian and British dishes and meals, to discuss the negative effects of fast food and benefits of homemade food

- be able to describe traditional dishes and meals in Belarus and the UK, the origin and recipes of national dishes from all over the world

- be able to write a recipe of a traditional Belarusian dish and a story about making bread.


COMMUNICATIVE AREA


1) describing: traditional British dishes, Belarusian national cuisine, traditional meals in the UK and Belarus, national dishes from all over the world;
