The Number of Visitors arriving in/leaving the country 2009-2011

The charts below show the number of visitors arriving in a particular country for a short trip, and the number of residents leaving that country for a short trip, from 2009 to 2011.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

  1. The line graph presents the proportion of visitor arrivals and resident departures between 2009 and 2011.
    It seems, that the amount of resident departures is higher than the proportion of people, who came.
    The line graph shows that both visitor arrivals and resident departures surge steadily from 2009 to 2010.
    The initial point of resident started in 2009, it reached approximately 550000 tourists and surged in October 2010, where the proportion of trippers was 60500.
    As opposed to, the visitor arrivals reached 490000 people, and raised to 525000 tourists in October 2010.
    Therefore, after October 2010, the number of resident departures continues rise marginally and reached a peak in June 2011. It was about 65000 of people.
    On the contrary, in October 2010 the graph descended considerably. So, the lowest point was in June 2011. Approximately, It was 495000 tourists.
    Thus, the number of resident departures was much higher, and the number of visitors fluctuated over the period and reached a peak of 525000 thousand tourists in October 2010.
