I'm pretty sure that without continuous professional development we, EFL teachers, will never succeed in our work.

Our world is constantly changing, rapidly changing. Twenty years ago we couldn't even imagine such transformation in our society, but now we are so used to our gadgets that we can't survive without them let alone speaking about present generation. 

To teach teenagers now, we must develop, we must find new approaches and ways to motivate, engage our students to study. It's a never-ending process, it's education through our life and I like it. I'm CPD-addicted.

Throughout my career I have already completed a lot of courses for educators both offline and online, watched hundreds of webinars and educational videos, but I'm still hungry for knowledge, especially in present situation when the whole world is facing the danger of corona virus.

Digital storytelling with Microsoft Sway lets educators and students focus on the content and not worry about the format. This course will show how Sway can be used to capture and share the digital stories that need to be told.

Learning is more powerful and dynamic with tools that are already right in front of you – and it’s up to educators to impress this on students in the classroom. The second course I have completed is Getting Started with OneNote.

With Microsoft OneNote, educators can create digital notebooks that support academic standards and education outcomes across disciplines and tasks, such as writing, reading, mathematics, science, history, CTE, and elective courses. Students may use OneNote across content areas and grade levels, and use OneNote to compile and organize unstructured information, research, and content. OneNote also supports research, collaboration, information management, communication, note taking, journaling, reflective writing, and academic requirements.

And finally I have been recognized as Microsoft Innovative Educator! I'm extremely satisfied with it and, for sure, I'll continue my self-education to keep up with new trends and approaches in education!
